I had a chance to pick up Murder Set Pieces for cheap yesterday, but have heard it wasn't all that good. I also heard that the copy I would be getting would be edited, so I didn't bother. Should I have picked it up? I admit that I am not as into the more extreme cinema like some folks around here (I still refuse to see Cannibal Holocaust, for instance), I know my limitations....haha....;) But I do watch some of them.

As for Murder Set Pieces...I have the Director's Cut , which has all the film footage, this is one hell of a brutal film too !! The edited version aired on Comcast On Demand last month I believe it was, and though I didn't see it, those who did told me it was awful , I'm thinking with the extreme scenes cut from this movie it wouldn't be very good at all, so you made the right choice . Cannibal Holocaust is very hard for some to sit through, I've had people tell me to shut it off while watching it here, I have alot of mainstream horror in my collection too, but this list is of the real hard core horror,most of my friends won't even watch it with me. These you watch and after they've ended you still can't believe what you've just seen, but I love a good mindf*ck movie !
