NEWB - Saturday Night Fever (just a guess)

I only know a few, you can add to the list or change my entry if you feel you have been misrepresented.

I'm sure it wouldn't be in my top 10....but i've never seen it....sure, bits and pieces...never the whole movie.

I can't really think of a movie that I "hate". I've been disappointed in some...i.e. the Omen remake.....the Fog remake....two movies that were butchered.....really screwed them up, let me tell ya...but hate.......I CAN'T BELIEVE HOW BAD THEY FUCKED THOSE TWO BELOVED MOVIES UP....

FUCKERS

i hate them:mad:

there arent a lot i hate ..
sometimes its the situation even more than the actual film ..
most i can go - meh, crap film - but i dont HATE it.

the village - i hated it with all my being. i felt ripped off and cheated 10 different ways.
like i was mugged for $50 (inc. babysitter $$) and 2 hours of my life.

Really? May I ask why? It's cool, I'm not questioning your opinion...I've just never heard of anyone hating Dog Soldiers.
I think it's probably just that I'm not big on werewolf films in general.
I suppose the creatures looked good and all, and the gore was sufficient, it just didn't really feel like a "movie" to me. The plot, even with the "twist" just seemed very thin, and the whole thing felt a little mindless to me. I mean, I've seen werewolf films I can recall liking - I think there was one called silver bullets?, I was a teenage werewolf, 'wolf' was cool, even though that was more original werewolf - wolfman type theme, the first howling I thought was alright (crap bunch of sequels though), and american werewolf was great fun, romansanta was cool too...and then there's those that I haven't liked, such as cursed, underworld, the howling sequels, gingersnaps, and I tend to group this one in with those.
Personal taste I guess...I mean I didn't HATE it hate it...just felt like by the end it was a chore sitting through it, and that if I never saw it again, that'd be ok by me.
...I liked the part where the guy ran into the stick though?
Motherfucker got skewered!

I see, fair enough. I could definately see that with the film.

And yes...that part was pretty fuckin' badass, for sure.

_____V_____ - Leprechaun.

I ve already said why I hate it in another thread, but let me sum up in one line...

This one is the most idiotic movie ever made in cinema history.

PeaSoupintheye 01-11-2007 05:01 AM

Ooooh this is a hard one...I guess as I don't particularly have any films I despise it would have to be more of a film I was extremely disappointed in...hmmm

Johny Nemonic
The Human Stain
Truman Show
Arthur...

Off the top of my head I would probably go for one of them...errr actually...yeah in that order - I def. hate Johny Nemonic the most.

stygianwitch - At Dawn They Sleep.... man what a waste of money this is, thank god i didn't waste more than 20 minutes on it

it's a very badly made home porn/vampire story..... no can't call it a story, 'piece of garbage' is more accurate

I'm with you 100% on that. Guess some people wouldn't know good horror if it stabbed them in the head with a butcher knife...
