Agreed. I'm pretty happy with the way things are going actually. Some of my favorite horror films have been made in recent years: Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust, Frailty, Dagon, and May.

im not complaining about the horor movies the have came out in the past yrs i loved the new TCM , and FvJ was the most genius idea :D i just think its gonna be hard to get back the Freddy, jason, and halloween series the way they were

i havent poked around enough then i guess... apart from jeepers creepers and the ring i cant seam to remember the release of an exelent horror movie in ages.

so....nu-horror it is then? heh-heh-heh....
Just saw jeepers2....gotta say I'm dissapointed as hell, the creeper looked cool and all, BUT this film had NONE of the suspense and paranoia-inducing scenes of the first film, it was "ok" though...don't think I'd buy it...
