I am deffinately excited to see this. I didnt get to watch the complete first movie(busy talking online) but the second movie deffinately caught my attention. I have really been waiting for the third to come out.
These movies have for sure taken alot of time and knowledge to put together such mind twisting scenes.
It'd be kool if they came out with bunch of Saw's, like Elmstreet.:)

Seen some of the trailer (on tv ) the last few days, but most likely won't go to see it, not that it won't be any good, just that I haven't seen the the first two.

Maybe when I get to see Saw then Saw 2, to get some idea of the on going story, rather than jumping in at the end; sort of like reading the last pages of a whodunnit first and then reading the beginning, if you know what I mean.

I believe that would be a smart idea considering the fact that saw can be quite confusing. You'll probably enjoy the first two. I know I did.

First review I saw for this yesterday on Joblo's Emporium (before Lion's Gate asked that it be taken off their site) was extremely positive. The guy gave it 3 1/2 starts on 4 and said that he could not believe how good it was. Really looking forward to seing it!

Saw the midnight showing last night. Great stuff. The ending fell apart (kind of like the first one) but the whole movie was just amazing otherwise, so it gets high marks from me. 8/10

The squirm factor was upped x10 in this one, so even the toughest of gore-fanatics might want to turn away in parts. The only thing I would change is the ending, but not by much.

I am going to see it tonight. Glad to hear one review before I do. I thought Saw II lost it on the ending too. But The tension factor and gore is what I like. I can't wait!!!

Time to move this to Modern Horror Movies section methinks? Anyways, the Rotten Tomatoes score dropped to 43% in one day. Not really a surprise since most critics don't know a good horror movie when it bites them in the ass (okay, I'll give them credit for liking The Descent). However, it looks like this is going to be another "fans dig it, critics hate it" fest on the review side. Ah well, I'm sure it'll still make a heap of cash, which it deserves.
