ok - let's roll it back a bit. . . first, welcome to HDC. if you are an aspiring writer, this is a fairly good place to come, there is a fairly big group of folks who write fiction and post them in the fiction forum. . . and there are even more people who are into horror fiction, films, toys, etc. etc. the group here is fairly friendly and soon (if you hang around) you'll be part of all kinds of inside jokes, banter and even the occassional real disagreement and fight. . .
but, the worst way to join up with this community is to 1) be pushy and impatient for feedback/responses and 2) to focus only on your own self-promotion. (it also doesn't help calling members 'bitches,' nor does it help to play the self-pity card too many times).
anyway, the key is 'welcome' - settle in, join a few conversations, try out a variety of threads. . . read what other people wrote and then wait patiently for folks to respond to you
