I actually think that's the beauty of it.

The cheese factor is why I love horror films. I can't be fucked with all the seriousness of movies these days..... gimme murder, profanity and nudity! :p

beats watching Ron Howard films anyways

I have #1 on dvd and i love it, I have loved it since I was 4:p But when the laughs go away and people start dying it has a real serious feel, anyone agree? I mean the scene with Frank and Freddy dying and the scene right before Frank gets into the creamitorium, Am I the only one who thought it was disturbing? I mean they captured the suffering on film so well, I also cant forget at the end when Burt and Tina are in the attic you hear Freddy talking to her. Then right up at the end Freddy goes "Tinnnaaaaa!!!!" and pops up through the attic door, that scared the shit outta me.

i love the film to death .. but again the one thing that drove me nuts is the 'punk' look and the fact that this diverse group of people hung out together in a 'gang'
as if you'd really see that group of kids doing anything but beating the shit out of each other !

other than the holleywood bullshit misunderstood punk fashion choice ... the movie is mint ....

the only zombie movies i have seen are dawn of the dead (both), day of the dead, and the newer night of the living dead.

I love NOTLD, the isolation thing is what makes the movie scary, even though its somewhat corny. But the new Dawn of the Dead was scary to me, because the zombies were fast as hell. That would really suck tryin to fight a 1000 + zombies if they all stampede at you.
