why do we need explaination???
 
halloween is my favorite of all time and michael scares the crap out of me! the music, and the subtle lighting when bringing him out of the shadows. donald pleasance so sells the story here and w/o him the 1st movie would've been kind of a drag since there wasn't much action. IMO there is no problem w/ michael. he's the boogie man. how can you explain why evil exists? it just does. yeah, in reality a normal man couldn't withstand being shot and blown up (but this is a movie after all) and i believe the main reason he's been so resilliant (hope i spelled that correctly) is b/c mustapha akkad can still make money on him. Carpenter killed him off at the end of two and may be that's where it should've ended but i love him so much, i'm glad he came back ;)
i love the fact that he's robotic and has no need to run b/c he knows he'll catch up. the mask is scary and he shows no emotion-except for the occassional head tilt. he's AWESOME! WHEW! sorry.

H20 AND RESURRECTION ARE NOT A PART OF THE HALLOWEEN SERIES AT ALL IMO!! JUST A WAY FOR SCUMMY HOLLYWOOD TO GET THEIR HANDS ON A WONDERFULLY CLASSIC IDEA AND RUN IT INTO THE GROUND! IT WAS AWFUL BOTH OF THEM! I CONSIDER H20 TO BE A RE-MAKE OF THE CLASSIC HALLOWEEN AND JAMIE LEE SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF HERSELF FOR BEING A PART OF IT AND RESURRECTION WAS A SEQUEL TO H20. THERE IS NO HALLOWEEN W/O DONALD PLEASANCE. IT'S JUST SOME DORK RUNNING AROUND IN A PSUEDO WANNA BE MICHAEL MASK! THEY STINK!

THIS JUST GETS BETTER AND BETTER. I COULD'NT HAVE SAID IT BETTER MYSELF.THIS GIRL/GUY(SORRY LESLIE IS A GIRL AND BOY NAME DID'NT WANT TO GUESS WRONG) REALLY KNOWS WHAT HE/SHE IS TALKING ABOUT.

I agree that Pleasance was a dynamic part of the series and the movies without him are majorly lacking.

leslie is a girl! and i know TONS about Michael Myers b/c he's my favorite and b/c of him carpenter has become a favorite of mine. now, i consider 1&2 to be the same movie though obviously carpenter did not direct the second picture, only helped to write/produce it. (no one needs a history lesson, i'm sure) one is beautiful b/c of the subtle way he plants michael at crucial points in the film and an origin is created for michael. two was great b/c it was all tied together into one neat little package plus there was a ton more action than the first part and that hospital was damn scary. i know that if i ran into michael in a dark alley i'd be scared sh*tless and at that point you may as well just lay down b/c you're already dead. he's intense and to quote a line from the terminator, "he absolutely will not stop, until you are dead!" nah, there's no problem w/ mike! ;) 4,5,6 are just dessert for me. see a little more of the guy i love!

Yeah, I watched them and he says that in all of them but it seems more like his opinion than fact for the movie.
