I must say I'm ambivalent about the changes. . . the 'old' HDC was often brutally funny - the vicious razzing of newbies and spammers was hilarious

But, it was also a very harsh environment and I think the new "genteler' version of HDC allows more people to be part of the community. . . still, the old threads are hilarious.
