Too bad Toronto's so far away. I'd love to pick through your movies and my nephew would pick through your computer junk.

I have an enormous collection of bottles, over 200 at this point. No repeats, all various kinds of liquor and beer, some still have booze in them. I have one that my grandmother in law gave me that is worth over $300.

I also have a HUGE collection of Magic The Gathering cards. i had a decent collection, and i had a frweind who also played that had thousands of them. He had been going out with my sister for years and kept them at our house. Anyway, they broke up, and i put them in my trunk for him to take. for 2 FUCKING YEARS i told him to take them back and he kept putting it off. Finally, we stopped hanging out and talking, so i kept them. i'm not sure what the value is, but with some o fthe rare cards, and the sheer number of them, it has to be between 3 and 10 thousand dollars (maybe i should find out...)

I also have a collection of cards for a game called "Netrunner". it was a MTG type game based on Cyberpunk 2020.

And i have cards for Jyhad, the forerunner to Vampire_the eternal strugglre card game. it only lasdted a couple of months because it was almost unplayable.

I have a piece of meatloaf in my freezer that looks like the front of a 59 Edsel!

i've got some amazing stuff .. its unbelievable what people want to get rid of ...

on the other hand i've been to many where i think people simply dump their garbage pails on the lawn and try to sell it

I feel the same way. I've had 2 yard sales and made a total of about 40 cents. But I love going to yard sales. Last year my sister and I went to a ritzy neighborhood that advertised a yard sale and all they had was really trashy looking stuff. I said to my sis you'd think there would be better stuff here, but you get better stuff in the lower income neighborhoods.

i never been to a garage sale. but my uncle raves about them bc he bought a 50 inch screen tv for 100 bucks and it works and everything... he also bought a computer for 100 bucks.. it wasnt the best but still damn good for price. And he buys a ton of videogames for like 5 bucks or less for his kids (XBOX games). And even a nice grill for like 20 bucks.
