So are ya talkin bout research using adult stem cells (which I work on) or embryonic stem cell research (which requires the termination of a zygote (a fertilised egg)??
Think it all depends on the point people decide a human life exists. If you think it begins when fertilisation takes place, then in theory, a human life is being lost when the zygote is terminated. However, you cant really be certain the embyo would develop anyway. More to come when I can be bothered. Ash x x |
