Damn that's about my biggest fear right there. If I met someone who made one of my horror icons so legendary and they turned out to be a complete asshole... I think it'd break my heart. People expect that kind of behavior out of horror fans because of our ''morbid interests'', but it's just not the case. And when that kind of shit happens it makes us look bad. 8(

Is that directed by Bob Clark? I've never seen it but it's been on my must watch list forever.

Yes Bob Clark, the same chap that directed Children Shouldn't Play with Dead Things, which has been on my must watch list forever! Have you seen that one? I hear good things.

I haven't seen CSPWDT in about 20 years , but I remember it as a fun watch with some innovative ideas. My favorite Clark film is Black Christmas. That one has some genuinely unsettling moments.

I didn't know he made Black Christmas too. ::confused:: I always thought it was underrated.

I just watched The Lost Boys. I miss Corey Haim. ::sad::

MONKEY SHINES (1988). This seems to get little love or respect from the general public or even Romero fans, but I think it's quite good with some great (not gory) Savini FX and it's pretty suspenseful towards the end, even if a little trimming would have been judicious. ****
