We have war documentary aficionados here?

History in HD: The Last Bomb (netflix)
8/10

Quote:

Rarely seen combat footage takes viewers along for the 21st Bomber Command's long distance strikes on Tokyo near the end of World War II.
Documentary detailing the US Military's processes for final months of bombing of Japan. Gives a good slice of the setting, bombers, strategy, footage of bombing & dog fights, and day-in-life of the pilots.

Frontline: Battle Zones: Ukraine & Syria (netflix)
8/10

Quote:

Go inside the politics and fierce emotions driving the conflicts in Ukraine and Syria, two of the 21st century's most beleaguered battle zones.
Fascinating look at the daily on-the-ground situation in Ukraine (& Syria). Chaotic civil war, violence & revenge. If you're interested in getting a feel of what it's really like there, & the real 'whys', I recommend it.

I find that scene funny.
The only bit I found a little gross was the guy with his bowels out.

Thumb resize.

One of the worst movies I ever watched, made no fuckin' sense what so ever. I am a fan of low budget indie films but c'mon have some kind of structure.

It just looks bad!!

I really enjoyed it!!

Faultless from start to finish.
The gore, the depravity was amazing.
FX perfect.
Storyline, sick.
Embodiment of perfection.

This one looks interesting to me, I've never heard of it.

"Blackwood" 6/10

A decent haunted house story that would've been original 15 years ago.

Hmmmm.....I want to give this one a try.

Kind of like Maximum Overdrive.....stuff really cracks me up more than anything.

Meh. Not funny enough and too childish.

The Transporter (2002)
Jason Statham doing what he does best.

The Transporter 2 (2005)
And here too.

The Transporter (2008)
Here a little bit less.

Crank 2: High Voltage (2009)
Second viewing since it was released and I think I like it more than the first time.
Part 1 was already over-the-top and with part 2 they just said 'fuck it, let's go fucking mental'.
I'm still hoping they make a third part.
If you haven't seen Crank, I highly recommend it.

I have watched all the Transporter movies and both Crank movies and I thoroughly enjoyed them both!! Love Jason Statham!!

I have watch a few war documentaries, my husband watches a lot more of them. I believe he watched the same ones you have. I have to admit that they are rather interesting.

The Simpsons Movie 10/10

Dead of Nite (2014)

No rating, it truly sucked imo.....

Annabelle (2014)

Some good jump scares but a bit of a disappointment. I went into it thinking this doll could rival Chucky but not so much. I kept waiting to see Annabelle actually up and in action.

Frankenstein vs. The Mummy -- 3/10; Well, at least the mummy looked good. Apparently, if you hit a mummy in the head, it'll ring sonorously like a glass jug.

Armistice. Very well acted. Well shot. Some plot holes, but shrug. It was a decent watch even though you'll probably figure everything out by the middle of the film. Its still worth watching. 3/5 stars.

Dead & Rotting -- 2/10; Not quite utter trash. This scene was worthy:
