Texas Chainsaw Massacre

In my opinion, Freddy's persona and films haven't really stood the test of time. Unfortunately, the sometimes rediculous and always silly NOES movies just don't hold a candle to the much more serious-toned, and still shocking, TCM films, or, at least the first one.

The Texas Chainsaw Massacre franchise, by a mile.

After running neck-to-neck at 4-4 each...the TCM franchise breaks away into a gallop and surges past the finish line to score a 10-4 win over the Nightmare on Elm Street franchise!!
