It was sweeter than I expected too, not bad though. I'm having a Ruination IPA, good stuff.

Have you ever had a beer that slapped you in the face and made you it's Bitch...I have. Let me tell you how we met. I was on a quest to purchase a variety of seasonal "pumpkin" beers. During this quest my eyes fell upon a brew the likes of which I have never seen. I've always been a fan of Stone Brewery but this particular little beauty must have escaped my past excursions to the package store. Not to be deterred from my original quest, I managed to escape the store with just my pumpkin bounty. .......but the encounter never left my mind. I struggled with sleep that night...tossing and turning, snoring and farting, but a deep sleep was not to be had. The very next day ( today in fact ) I thought to myself....I must make another journey to my destiny. But The Wife had other plans. " I'm off to the market" she bellowed...."Would you like me to go with?" I said. "If you wish" she roared. So once again I had to put the thought of my new quest out of my mind, for you see the market was in a completely different direction. That is.....until Fate intervened !

Just before our market trip The Wife ordered me to put a couple of bags of clothing into the vehicle to drop off at the local big brother/ little sister whatever place.....which just happened to put us in the exact direction of ...you guessed it...The Package Store. And to further solidify my "Fate" theory ....after purchasing this item, in the vehicle on the way home , what song comes on the radio....."Thunderstruck" by AC/DC. ...true story.

Tasty! I bought it at BJ's, it was a special collection. Has that, Gingerbread Stout, Boston Lager, and White Christmas. Can't wait to try the Gingerbread Stout!

Fantastic drink! A friend brought it over and I love it. There's an initial sweetness which turns into a smooth bitterness that's almost stout-like.
