Black Christmas for sure!
It doesn't get anywhere near the credit Halloween does for spawning the slasher genre but it came out a full 4 years before Halloween and actually looks like it probably played a pretty heavy influence (whether credited or uncredited, I don't know) in John Carpenter's directing style. Excellent slasher film, and one of the TRUE pioneers of the genre. |

Although I LOVED Tale of Two Sisters (watched it aorund the same time as Audition and found ToTS superior) I have to vote for Re-Animator.

That's a damn tough choice. Both deserve to be in round 2, if not round 3. However, Re-animator has greater rewatchability, so it gets my vote.
