What'd you think? The final 20 minutes and the end had me shitting myself. I HATE "skinny dead" Alma so much i love it.

The Mothman 08-16-2008 05:27 PM

I enjoyed it. The only parts that actually scared me was when I was first introduced to the guys who crawled around. that was freaky. I might get FEAR Files on my 360, provided i can get it repaired first.

Assassin's Creed

I forgot how fun this game was. I'm currently on memory block 4. But I just went back and finished 2 completely.

We play "games", while I'm playing a game. ;)

Crackdown

I've almost finished all of the bosses in this one. Can you continue playing after you kill them all?

well, you can go back to the different memory blocks and play all you want. but there is nothing new after the last boss, if that's what you mean?

There's tons of fun achievements to get.

But it will let you continue to play though? That's what I'm asking. It doesn't shut you out of the game completely?

You can still play and build up skills, plus there's some cool DLC with a spear gun and some more baddies to kill. You can also respawn all the enemies and bosses and attack them with you're new weapons and skills.

Can you go past the 4 star stats?

I'm looking into the DLC now. There are 3.

I think there's might be a fifth star level and thats it.But it wont show a fifth star.

And some of the DLC will get you some extra achievements.

The_Return 08-19-2008 04:28 AM

Hooked up the old N64 yesterday...mostly been flipping between Starfox, Kirby and the Crystal Shards, and Ready 2 Rumble Boxing.

:D

Fun games, but I wouldn't play Ready 2 Rumble on anything but my Dreamcast.

The Mothman 08-22-2008 08:20 PM

Deus Ex
Warcraft: Orcs And Humans
Warcraft II
Age Of Empires II
Empire Earth
Comand & Conquer Red Alert 2

guess its just an RTS phase.

Vodstok 08-23-2008 04:36 AM

never played red alert, but i have been seriously considering firing up the original C&C. I love those blood-curdling screams when the infantry units get killed :)

The Mothman 08-23-2008 07:55 AM

yeha I actually know what you're talking about. I had the original for quite some time. Get Red Alert or Red Alert Two. Is just as simple as the original, cept its got new units and buildings and such. and better graphics. Im pretty sure they're both abandonware at this point.

Angra 08-23-2008 08:15 AM

"The eye of judgment" for PS3

A quite expensive stratedgy game. And not only that, but it's impossible to get more cards in my country coz no stores have them anymore.

Thank god for Ebay.

CrimsonFiend138 08-30-2008 08:56 PM

Fable 2 is going to rule!

CrimsonFiend138 09-01-2008 12:04 AM

Fable didn't live up to what I expected but I found myself Playing it ALOT and it was awesome enough to make me want to get a 360 JUST for that reason.

I have a question: I hear alot about the red ring and so on, If I were to get a 360 would I still have that problem or did they fix that?

Fable wasn't everything they said it would be, but I'm expecting the sequel will be a little closer.

Ah, the red ring. I really don't want to discuss that, because I don't want to jinx myself.

ChronoGrl 09-07-2008 02:24 PM

I returned to Condemned: Criminal Origins.

Good game, though I think the second one is more polished. The CSI element is a bit sketchier in this one.

The enemies are cool, though. I've discovered these crawling zombie-like creatures. Wish I wasn't such a scaredy cat. I can only play the game about ten minutes at a time. :o

I had a similar effect when I first played the original call of duty, it's like there had never been a game of this type anywhere near as intense. Felt almost shellshocked from the damn thing the first couple stages I played through, it could be so disorienting and chaotic at times, even as a shooter player predominately it actually took me aback - 15-20 minute sessions only for me.

illdojo 09-07-2008 08:18 PM

Tiger Woods 09 on Wii.

Despare 09-19-2008 01:05 PM

Mancala .

Vodstok 09-20-2008 11:48 AM

Fired up Bioshock again, but I'm thinking of playing some Halflife 2... im in the mood for zombies and Combine.

Phalanx 09-20-2008 04:58 PM

Back to PS2.
Finally finished those x-men legends games.
Just getting into the first ONIMUSHA game, which I've had a bit of a go at before, but never played more'n about 20 minutes of. looks pretty decent so far, very nice cutscenes.

I've been playing that on xbox and I love it.Best Star Wars game ever.Great graphics but the controls can be a little sketchy sometimes.

Plus the powers that you have are fun to use cause you can do mulitple things with each power.

Yeah, I must say I have only played for about 1-2 hours - I only got it yesterday and haven't had much of a chance to get into it.

But it does seem like a lot of fun. The graphics are great and there seems to be a worthwhile storyline. Hope it continues to impress.

Vodstok 09-22-2008 06:18 AM

I was going through the motions of the first level of bioshock, then meandered into the Medical Pavillion level. Sometime around the Splicer woman getting fried at the funeral home, to me setting 4 of them on fire after getting the Incinerate plasmid, i forgot I had played it before and was totally immersed again.

I love Bioshock. I figure if I play a game a third time, i am getting a return on my investment purchasing it. Luckily Bioshock, the half-Life games and FEAR have made up for Deus Ex, Homeworld, Doom 3 (oddly enough) that I have purchased or been given and never finished for one reason or another.

Doom 3 will have to be completed though... It is on my list of games i Need a gallerty for on Scared yet....

VampiricClown 09-22-2008 07:22 AM

Prey

This game is pretty bizarre.
