I really like this often over looked Lovecraft adaption.

The Curse, didn't care for it. Although the over ripe bleeding tomato scene had me in tears because I was laughing so hard, so I guess I have at least one fond memory from the movie.

I thought it was ok. Like you I found it unintentionally hilarious that scene and others. ::big grin::

PATRICK 1978

From Australia, a film about a young man Patrick who lays in a coma in hospital and the nurse who cares for him. He wants her for himself and lets all involved know it. Pretty decent.

Spookies (1986) Not bad. It kept you guessing and surprised by what it threw at you, you really didn't know what was going to happen next as the film goes on. What it lacked in cohesion it made up for with variety there were some great "spookies".

SPOOKIES is a favourite of mine. I loved the soundtrack(of sorts) especially the intro. Just when you'd think it couldn't get any stranger...it did. Great fun.

Never heard of this movie before.

Contained the usual 80s b-horror acting and overly clichéd characters that you couldn't help but to hate. But the movie was goood. :)

Thanks for mentioning this, guys!

"Spookies" 7/10

There are a few other versions of the story if you are interested.

Die Monster Die (with Karloff)
Die Farbe
Colour from the Dark

That's what's great about this forum...I've only been on for a month but I've looked up and seen a few movies I would have never heard of otherwise!
