How dare you pigeon hole me and subject my tastes to some sort of cliched 2 dimensional love of 'these kind' of films. Next you will be using the phrase 'torture porn' in the sentance as my name. Once Again, How dare you Sir!!!!

..and yeah I did really like that film :D

also I think 'baffling' is a great word to discribe The Tall Man (on all levels) - what were they thinking...

This sequel to the last year's highly overrated found footage horror takes its first 35 long minutes to get its new "crew" of annoying bunch into that haunted psychiatric hospital where all the shits began in the first film. This whole build up was quite unnecessarily long as it clearly wasted some damn good minutes of the film reel. The cast was okay & the lead playing as an indie film maker as well as curious online video-reviewer of the 1st film finely suits into the role.
Now, about the main segment...after they finally sneaks in to the hospital & the main show begins: liked the idea of adding a security patrol this time, the cheap frights (that strangely somehow managed to get some good responses in the 1st film from the "fans") with effects of "corporal ghosts" returns as expected & some were treated I think slightly better this time but in only 1 or 2 scenes (like that dude coming out from a little door & as he runs after them, the size of his bodily figure increases!) and by saying that I think as far I remember as a whole this one has less 'encounters' than the first one as they wasted some good amount of time at the beginning. And that's actually all about it. There were few fine ideas to scare the shit out of its viewers and even the ending tried too hard to be a smart or classy one but becomes an utter failure, as there's nothing new to add in the found footage arena. Overall, surely worse than the 1st one but one thing this film did good & that is, helped me to realize how well & better The Asylum treated a similar concept in one of their recent movie...100 Ghost Street: The Return of Richard Speck and that's a better substitute for any of this 2 Grave Encounters films, IMO.

Great movie! I love the unique films we've been getting out of South Korea over the past 10 years.
This one was unexpectedly funny, too.

I endured Final Destination 5..My son and I became bored after the first few deaths and started taking bets on who would suffer from the most hideous greenstick fracture. He won....
I am now a fiver down,so I give this film 2/5 .

Bait - The effects varied from passable to awful, the storyline was ridiculous and Julian McMahon irritates me.Basically it's a stupid shark film, but I do kinda like stupid shark films,so despite a mutitude of flaws I had strangely good (Beer fueled) time watching it. 6/10

Equally as wtf as the first. Although the first was better, and a bit more disturbing IMO. The ending of each film was equally strong I believe. Anybody seen either of these?

Nope.

You said the word "disturbing", so i'm probably not gonna.
