Like the other recent Britt drama/horror Kill List, The Devil's Business also concerns a pair of hitmen (but surely this is a better film than KL)...pro-old hand trigger man Pinner and his ambitious young sidekick Cully break into a rural home at night, awaiting the return of owner Kist, whom their gangland boss Bruno wants dead, with no questions asked.

With relatively short running time, small cast, limited domestic setting and convincing performances from the cast, this is a pretty well executed low-budget, mostly dialog driven Britt chiller that can be a worthy look for the old school genre fans.

Recommended.

Ok,but nothing to rave about.

The best bit was when Hulk fucked up Loki. That was pleasing!

Yup...another stupid torture flick but not too bad.

Easy A - 7.5/10

The Avengers- 9/10

The Tall Man - 6/10
I guess I liked this one. It wasn't what I was expecting at all. It's really more of a drama than a suspense, and more of a suspense than a horror, so many people here would hate it. It wasn't a bad movie, it just wasn't what I wanted it to be. I forgot that Jessica Biel was a good actress though, she was very believable.

The Thing (2011) is on HBO this month. I'm going to see if my original opinion on it changed. I watched an hour last night and it still feels off compared to the classic Carpenter version.
