I just bought an original Night of the Comet movie poster. So now I've got the poster, the movie on bootlegged DVD, and a VHS copy (well out of print) still in the factory shrink-wrap.

Not even my fav flick, but I seem to end up with a lot of stuff from it. Think my next purchase is either going to be Robot Jox or the Lost Skeleton of Cadavra.

definatley a film that is deserving of depth behind the scene coverage (the best version for alot of these films is mint widescreen VHS) .... but they save that shit for dildos like Tom Cruise, Russell Crowe, Brad Pitt and shit... if Speilberg or Ritchie Cunningham direct it expect a box set of these pricks scratching their asses

last i heard was that they had found the missing footage removed to obtain the R rating, but that was a few months ago....guess it takes a while

What footage was removed? A lot of the editions on VHS that sneak round here are all suprisingly uncut.

depends on what was in the original version supplied to the censors....the uk version was identified as uncut but that means they didn't remove anything

 Solid!

I think I prefer the old VHS versions of a lot of these films. Its the way a lot of them were intended. Some DVD versions are just too clean and take away from the aesthetics of the effects used the film.
