As the fifth installment in the series, not bad as I expected. Though Pinhead got little screen time & the story added nothing new to the franchise or not as gory & violent as earlier Hellraiser films but still as a psychologically twisted horror feature, I kinda liked it. :o

I like that one too. James Remar was great in it. It's a lot better than Bloodline and was the last worthwhile entry in the series.

With the undertone of a dark political past of a country, this movie is as good as any other modern, well made Spanish Horror-thrillers, considering its production value, cast, pace & overall making of the film. Even the finely constructed story offers an interesting plot & well developed characters where the 'Past' & 'Present' overlaps time to time through revealing all the horror & mystery quite decently. Thought it was definitely entertaining but as a thriller, I think the film somewhat loses its credibility for its predictable twist about the antagonist & the way they finally exposed the character into the one final tensed & supernatural scenario near the end. Even as a genre fan, I think it'd better if the same story was constructed with less supernatural elements on it, particularly about the bad guy.

Overall, a fine Spanish supernatural thriller, not a bad time waster.

Joking? One of the only good dramas to come out recently. It was really depressing though :(

Might be had to view out of context, too, especially by a seasoned horror viewer. It still stuns me that it was made in Japan in 2000; might seem passé by American standards, but it was really risqué and controversial, especially in the wake of the book's controversy.

Read the book first, way back when. Saw the movie in like... 04. I just don't dig it. It's too stupid. I'm painting a target on my shiny white ass, but I liked Hunger Games more.

My wife wanted to watch Apollo 18. I didn't care for it at all, although she kind of liked it.
