I thought that was a pretty decent low-budget movie. :)

I remember really liking this movie when it first came out....the demon was pretty creepy.

I went and saw Ghost Rider yesterday, and I was soooo disappointed. It started off pretty good and right around the time Mephistopheles shows up the cheese factor goes through the ROOF. Try watching the end and NOT thinking of Blade.

Rocky 1 & 2. It was a complete surprise to notice that Stallone also contributed to the production. Here is a much underrated actor. I hear he wrote a screenplay on Poe and nobody would take him seriously. No surprise there.

And Miike's Bird People of China is inspiring.

Kill Bill v.2

Still my number 1 film. Dialogue in the last 40 minutes is extremely amazing.

Wow, where have you been? Welcome back.

Last movie I saw was Spider Baby and I'm shocked that I haven't seen this one before. What an interesting look into a... unique family.

The Return of Dr. X

Pretty cool. Better than the first Dr. X (even though they're totally unrelated). Stange seeing Bogart in a role like this, but he pulled it off pretty well.

My only major gripe with this movie is the fact that the plot summary on the DVD case is just a big ol' spoiler:mad:. Good movie, but it would have been better if I hadnt already known the ending...

Ghost Rider

weak shit, but the kids liked it

Posher778 02-19-2007 04:18 PM

Cube

Wow! Surprisingly fantastic film. The ending was very un fair though, I didn't like it much... I didn't like how only *spoiler* 2 people were killed by traps, that was lame* *end spoil*

The spike sound room was my favorite, with like 10000 spikes.

Bloodrayne was right, great film. Definently check it out

"Night at the museum" 4/10

Pretty much hated it..

Except for the 3 old night guards, i thought everybody in it was painfully unfunny. Maybe the fact that it's a "Family" movie explains some of it.

And the smiling kid.. I could strangle him.

Phalanx 02-20-2007 04:56 AM

Yeah...I didn't think it was all that great myself, kinda mildly entertaining, but definately far from the best work of all involved.
Although, two parts made me laugh, the part where he tricked the monkey with baby-toy keys then teased it, and again with the monkey, the slap-fight.
Other than that, I was kind've waiting for it to finish.
I imagine I would've loved it as a kid...but yeah...

Just watched "the monster squad" for the first time since I saw it at the movies when I was about 7-8 years old. Loved it back then. Saw flaws now...although, it was still fairly enjoyable for what it was. Kind've like van helsing meets fright night meets goonies...not a bad monster plot though, simple, but decent. Nice effects, for its time.

The Prestige

kind of disappointed in this one. Not a bad movie at all but I was expecting a better ending.

Oh yes, forgot about the slap fight. Now THAT was funny.

Brought back memories to the equally laughable scene in Mel Brooks "Life stinks". :)

Masters Of Horror: Sick Girl

This film was just flat out, bizzare! I've never seen anything quite like this. Decent enough little film with some humor to it.

I liked the characters. Especially the infamous lead actress did an excellent job being weird as hell, i thought. :)

Weird is an understatement. :p

A Bucket Of Blood

This was a decent title for the 1950's. Worth a watch if you have an hour.

I actually kinda liked this one. It wasn't amazing by any standards, but it was a unique idea and kept me entertained. Plus, it was a good one to go with the entire family to, and those don't come around very often.

Can't it be that you and I look at it differently because you've got a family and i don't, hm?

Could be. And by no means am I saying that I'm right, or that I meet the general consensus, because the critics hated it and so did a lot of audiences.

I'm just saying I kinda liked it. But I believe I'm in the minority.

Hard Candy

This was a hard hitter. Its really hard to say who'se side I was on by half way through. Some of those things she did (everyone who'se seen it knows) was crazy. Of course she was right, because pedos are the worst things to walk the earth, but still, wild. She played everything off perfectly, GREAT rising actress. Weird, weird movie.

I liked this movie a lot but I wish it would have given me somebody to root for. I didn't care if either person lived or died and if they would have been able to establish a character for me to really pull for I think the film would have been even better.

Yes, it was very difficult to decide who I liked. Very gripping though.

AngelDust24 02-20-2007 04:56 PM

Just finished watching Great Ecstacy of Robert Carmichael.
Might not technically be a horror, but good God.
I actually flinched during the final scene.
It will only be remembered for the ending, which is a shame, because it does have something about it.
But the end....*shiver* don't think I'll be watching it twice..

Tales from the Darkside

Dont know how I got it but watched it and liked it. Mind I will be a lot more careful around my cat from now on lol.
