i need your help in figuring out the name of a movie i saw years ago, probably mid to late 90's, and i am going to describe the scenes i remember because trying to find it is driving me crazy!!!!
one of the scenes is the main character, being a school boy, is in a classroom and he is about to tell a lie, when he looks up at a cross of jesus hung up on the wall in which jesus opens his eyes and looks at the kid.

another scene is while this kid was in bed, he hears some banging noise on his door and a figure of a face tries to break through the door. Like the face was pushing itself through the door or something like that.

I also remember there is a graveyard scene, and a blue-like hand.
I know this is a longshot case, but the thing i am sure of is the jesus scene.
if anyone knows the name of this movie, it would really put my mind to rest.

Thanks guys!

The Unholy?

Might not have been a beach; could have been a house. Might not have been stabbed; could have been given a shot of adrenaline.

It's Pulp Fiction!

Definitely seen this one, but the name keeps escaping my mind.

This could be a long shot, but Joey (aka) Making Contact (1985)?

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0089378/usercomments

ace17 05-27-2011 10:43 AM

hmmm nop, not Joey Making Contact
nice try though

ace17 05-28-2011 05:52 PM

like i said, the teacher was asking him something, and he was going to lie, and at that point jesus on the cross opened his eyes and stared at him.
freaky stuff

_____V_____ 05-28-2011 08:46 PM

The scene I recall, of the wooden Jesus on the cross opening his eyes, is in Exorcist III.

(At 1:00 in the above trailer)

Hmm...I ll get back to you on this.

ace17 05-28-2011 10:24 PM

thanks V!
thats the closest scene one can get to it
but sadly enough, it's not the movie
the scene is question happens in a classroom
but man your good!

then the man in black gets out and he find a blonde woman
he gave her a jewel.. that i think it was hers and had lost it.. the dialogue was like that.
-i found this (and he gave the jewel)
-O thank you... you are my life saver
-(he garbs her) no i am your life taker (and he slaughters her)
then he put her on his shoulders and walk away...
thas all i have :/ any ideas? ty :)

My wife said she seen a vampire film where this group of vampires goes to this house where a family lives and the vampires start killing the family over a few days. at the end theres only the teenage/young boy left and the vampires get there right at dark. The vampires randomly attacked this family and knew nothing of them. The movie ends when the full moon rises and the boy starts getting hairy. Apparently the vampires die. Badly.

And a movie I remember with vampires has the hippie van with no windows being how the vampire family gets around. The vampires all seem to come from different places.

TheWickerFan 05-30-2011 11:59 AM

I don't know about your wife's vampire movie, but the one you described sounds like Near Dark.

Hello All...been years trying to find this movie...looking for help...I will give as much info as I can rememer...I was 12 or 13...stayed home from school and there was a horror movie on HBO...must have been PG-13 for this hour...Movie was based around a house...any new occupants that moved in were killed by what I think were the original owners...I know there was an ax murder scene, and I know that there was a scene where the original owners or whomever argured with each other becuase she was upset that someone had been killed...she explained that it was part of the plan...movie ended with a new couple being shown the house, and a spider walking along a wooden post...I know this is vague at best..all i have is a horror movie rated PG-13, and it's early 80's....please help!!! Thanks!!!!

attacked and possibly killed by these

Innomen 06-05-2011 08:13 PM

What were these movies?

I remember two movies from either the late 80s or early to mid 90s.

I have been trying to track these movies down for ages.

Please help.

One I sort of remember as a compilation of short stories kind of movie.

It involved a civil war plantation type house and civil war solders coming upon it with kids in it, and the kids end up killing them, I have a mental picture of a solider hanging from the ceiling missing limbs.

The second movie involved a castle, and I think a wedding. People ended up trapped in the castle, the movie was kind of yellow, if that makes sense. There was a plot point where some secret was sealed "in the mouth of the architect" and it turned out to be literally true, they came upon the body and found a scroll or something in a corpse's mouth.

I really hope someone can help me on the first one.

crabapple 06-05-2011 08:24 PM

Don't know the second movie...but, the first one is "The Offspring" aka "From A Whisper To A Scream" and it is available on MGM video under the second title. Try Amazon...

Innomen 06-05-2011 08:33 PM

Thank you!

Ha! Awesome! Shit man, thank you! You do not even know how cool this is to me. (Sorry about putting this in the wrong place guys, thanks for the move.) *blush*

I'm trying to find out the title of a horror. all i know about it is it is something about a man who picks up a woman hitchhiker. you then hear on the car radio that a nutter is on the loose . The car drivers passenger is naturally edgy about the driver of the car, who appears very oddly behaved, and is portrayed in 'psycho' mode. But, in the end, the twist is that it turns out that it is actually the driver of the car who is innocent and it's his passenger that is the psycho. I think the movie may have being made in the 80s as that's when my wife saw it, she also says it was in colour.

I am sorry i am giving you little to go on, and am pretty vague, but please try to help.

Shotkalla 06-09-2011 11:12 AM

Does anyone know this film???/

In 1979 or so, I saw what I remember as being a short story on television titled "Bobby" (If memory serves). The tale was about a married couple who had a son named Bobby that fell off of an overpass or a cliff to his death and pulled into the ocean never to be found.
His grief stricken mother cleared out the living room and drew a large pentagram on the floor and read incantations to try to bring her dead son back to her. Bobby soon returned home shortly and told her he was found by a family who took care of him until his return home to his mother.
She then asked him if he had eaten and that she would make him some lunch and while eating he told his mother that he wanted to play hide and seek. She declined because she wanted to visit with him and he became angered and flipped the table over and ran off into the house to begin the game.

I have been scouring the net for years trying to find this film but have had no such luck.If you know where I may find this film I would be ecstatic. Please respond if you need more info or have any suggestions.
Thanks

Trilogy Of Terror and Burnt Offerings were two other great films from Dan Curtis. It's hard to know where to start, there are so many great horror films!

The Top 100 lists in the general forum are extremely helpful.

does anybody remember...

does anybody remember the title of the early 80's horror movie telling the story of a psycho killer collecting his victims dead bodies in his cellar to celebrate a birthday party (for his last victim)? The movie ends with the birthday party where all dead bodies and the last victim (a woman) sitting around a table. Finally the woman gets rescued by a friend who kills the serial killer with an ax. Probably medium known US production...
Any help is very welcome!!

Many thanks - I'm pretty sure that this is exactly the movie I was looking for. I was confused for one moment because the original release had a different artwork (as far as I remember). Will try to get copy of this one asap...
Once again: many thanks!

I just had the opportunity to make sure if the movie is the same or not. Unfortunately it is not the same one even if the story seems to resembling to the one I'm searching for.

I watched the movie I'm searching for some years ago and it is definitely one of the harder, serious early 80's slasher movies. Dark atmosperere, gore scenens,... dario argento, fulci giallo style...
please help...

From what movie is this frame?

It's a vampire movie, likely well-known one. Not series. I rely on your knowledge, since I haven't succeed searching this frame on the net. I'm sure it somehow involves Mexico, 'cause of the Day of Dead masks, so I've checked 'Vampires: Los Muertos', however it's not the one=\
