[QUOTE=ChronoGrl;924881]^^ Great movie. Haven't seen it in years, though. Definitely add it to your list.

Outcast (2010)

Pretty disappointed in this, especially since it received a bit of buzz around here... Really liked the concept, enjoyed the mythos, but thought that it was incredibly over-done, over-directed, and some of the acting was pretty poor (which really emphasized weak writing). Couldn't really get into it, and didn't finish it.

yeah i thought that movie was crap too, only good thing about that movie was the monster

It's a very interesting movie. Definitely at least worth a watch.

"Treasure Island" (2012)
-Eddie Izzard

Plot: IMDB
Young Jim Hawkins is the only one who can sucessfully get a schooner to a legendary Island known for buried Treasure. But aboard the ship is a mysterious cook named John Silver, whose true motivation on the journey challenges Jim's trust in the entire crew.

Phantom's Review: Decent, if a bit overly long version of the Stevenson classic. All the actors do a fine job and it's nice to see a wide range of accents among the pirates, but a four hours the film tends to drag in a few places. Not a very faithful adaptation, but still worth a viewing.

Killer Elite

a bit muddled but serviceable action movie.

Statham did his usual fine job, Deniro didn't have much to do and Clive Owen was solid.

not a remake of the 70 movie with James Cann

I love The Host. One of my favorite Monster movies.

They converted The Host into a 3D version at the end of 2011. There's a Korean film festival in LA, called "Look East" that will be bringing the 3D cut to the States on June 23 & 24 at the Chinese Theaters in Hollywood. I'm working with the festival, so hoping to get any inside scoop before the film gets to the U.S. They're still locking down times, ticket prices, etc. but more info will be coming up on the website (LookEastFestival.com).

I'm a fan of the movie, but I've only seen it on DVD. Will be cool to see it on the big screen and even better to see it in THREE DIMENSIONS!
