Kidnapped (2010)

I recommend this one, definitely some decent swerves

Hugo

Why didn't I know that Christopher Lee is in this movie?!

Started watching Galaxy of Terror 1981 didn't even make it through the credits. All I saw was Eddie Albert, Erin Moran and Ray Walston and I immediately turned it off.

Then I put on Botched 2007. While I usually don't like horror comedies, or Stephen Dorff, I enjoyed this flick. Nice flow, some memorable characters, and that hot chick from season 2 of Dexter.

"The Hunger Games" 7/10

First half was good. Last half was a Battle Royale remake, but not a very good one.

No Reason (2010)

Another pretty gruesome feature from German Gore-film maker Olaf Ittenbach. Liked the grotesque portrayal of 'Hell' in the film. Though started bit weirdly but eventually delivers a simple but bloody(-psychologically twisted!) sin & redemption story. Becoming a good fan of this film maker, next to check out Dard Divorce.

The Moth Diaries (2011)

Very...very mediocre. Pretty disappointing effort from the maker of American Psycho.

I like Olaf Ittenbach's flicks. Some have better acting/storylines than others but the gore is always pretty impressive. He's done some of the better low budget horror films out there.

Bug (2006) Superb psycho-drama from William Friedkin adapted from a stage play which was "too extreme" for the Cannes Film Festival audience it premiered at. Jaw dropping acting and characterizations bring a gorgeous intensity to every inch of this film with a growing nervous unease that continues to disturb the viewer as it progresses with barely time to digest the multitude of concepts on offer. Gripping.
