I haven´t seen it yet, but I´ve heard a lot of mixed reviews about it.

Watched Kill Bill for the first time. Not what I expected it was great. Loved the blood ummmm gushing lol. Have not seen part 2 soooo please no spoilers thanks.

alkytrio666 02-07-2007 01:12 PM

Kill Bill vol. 2 is soooooooooooooo much better. If you liked 'vol. 1' that much, you're in for a treat.

slayer666 02-07-2007 01:28 PM

Species.

Oh yeah, and I thought Kill Bill 2 was terrible compared to part 1.

in which case that was gordon liu (who was also in part 1 as a different character)

Phalanx 02-07-2007 02:55 PM

I didn't like #2 quite as much...felt as though the first one was just more artistically inclined...didn't hate the second, just wasn't all that impressed.
I'm still waiting for the "supposed" version that's out there with both of these together with some extra footage thrown in...simply 'cos I think that the second one truly would've worked better stuck on the ass end of the first.

Started watching "wedding crashers" last night...turned it off after about 10 minutes, just didn't seem funny at all, might give it another chance later today before I return it, but so far, really not feeling it.

Watch it for Will Ferrell's (all too small) part in it. ;)

A Life Less Ordinary (1997)

newb 02-07-2007 06:03 PM

After looking at Slashermans sig. for the last month or so, I just had to acquire a copy of "The Last Shark".

It is banned in the U S of A because its such a rip-off of "Jaws". It should have been banned because it sucks SO much.

Fair enough...I watched the rest of it, and he did have a pretty funny part...Overall it was "ok", not really a greatly funny comedy though. The completely dysfunctional family was probably the funniest element though...neither wilson of vaugn were at their best.

Nine Lives

This movie sucked! Let's start with the most obvious problem... It stars Paris Hilton and the bitch can't act. Now, I don't mind suffering through some of her terrible acting as long as their is a nasty death scene in her future, but that's not the case here. I won't give anything specific away but trust me when I say that you will be severely disappointed in how she gets it. (What? Like you really thought she would survive the film?)

Okay on top of the problem of Hilton's lousy acting & lackluster death, the script is boring & slow paced, the characters are bland and I really couldn't have cared less if they all made it out alive or all got killed as long as whatever happened was followed by the credits. Uninteresting, non-gory and non-entertaining. Stay away from this shitfest.

A Blade In The Dark

I enjoyed it even tho I picked the killer before the "twist" ending.
There's a shitload of giallo flicks I need to catch up on, I'm pretty new to the subgenre.

Well, they all sucked, that's true, but maybe she stuck out more because she was the only one without a British accent, so it was just easier for me to notice how frickin' terrible she was. Shit movie either way.

I just watched "Flags Of Our Fathers" It was a great film. Clint Eastwood is always on point. There was a lot of graphic war violence for you gore lovers. ;)

Despare 02-08-2007 03:21 PM

Blind Beast

It was a love story right? ;)

Disease 02-08-2007 03:46 PM

I watched The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (remake) late last night. I liked it much more than when I waatched it the first time about 3 years ago on video.

I think I liked it more because I enjoyed the beginning when I saw it at the cinema recently. I think the remake would be even better at the cinema , so hopefully one day i'll get the chance.

But how distracting is Jessica Biel, Running around in the tightest t-shirt and jeans, and all these camera angles from behind her and comeing up from the floor, showing us all the contours of her ass. They might as well have shown her tits at the start when they show the rope swing and the river.

Wow. Incredible movie, I loved it.

Saw 3

I tend to lose faith in franchises past the second installment, but I was pleasantly surprised. The deaths did seem rather forced (I know, that's what you get with these flicks) but the concept of forgiveness as the overriding theme for a horror movie is a breath of fresh air...and I love a flick that examines the futility and destructive results of revenge.

slasherman 02-09-2007 10:35 AM

tonight I gonna finish "The Manitou" (1978) with Tony Curtis...
