I myself do not "express" my sexuality, I just, am...but if people don't operate that way then I get that, this is because the human species varies greatly.
Though yeah in the more "extreme" cases, just because I find it a little odd, pointless, or annoying, doesn't mean anyone's got a right to tell someone how it ought to be. Preference, works both ways.

To be fair I've met a few people like this - most of them weren't out that long but I met one or 2 who were very in your face about their sexuality.
