The bathroom scene in that flick is the highlight for me. Great stuff.

Yes the killings were very well done they saved the movie.

Beyond The Door (1974)I don't really know what to say about this strange strange film its odd even for a 70s Italian horror. Ideal for those who "got" The Perfume Of The Lady In Black from the same year. This is very different though much more atmospheric. I'll have to check out the sequel though I'm not expecting it to be any less weird.

Sheitan- Insane and unusual French film. Intensely disturbing with several holy shit/WTF moments. Vincent Cassel gives a great performance with incredible creepiness. His smile becomes burnt into your retina.Total F'n wierdo but so is this film. Lags in the middle a bit but def doesnt hold back at all.

Will have to check this one out. Heard it was pretty dreamlike and surreal.

More of the same really. Was in the mood for something mindless and fun which it delivered.

I feel the same way.

"After.Life" (2009)
-Christina Ricci, Liam Neeson

After a horrific car accident, Anna (Ricci) wakes up to find the local funeral director Eliot Deacon (Neeson) preparing her body for her funeral. Confused, terrified and feeling still very much alive, Anna doesn't believe she's dead, despite the funeral director's reassurances that she is merely in transition to the afterlife. Eliot convinces her he has the ability to communicate with the dead and is the only one who can help her. Trapped inside the funeral home, with nobody to turn to except Eliot, Anna is forced to face her deepest fears and accept her own death. But Anna's grief-stricken boyfriend Paul (Long) still can't shake the nagging suspicion that Eliot isn't what he appears to be. As the funeral nears, Paul gets closer to unlocking the disturbing truth, but it could be too late; Anna may have already begun to cross over the other side.

Phantom's Review: a true WTF kind of movie. Strange, bizarre and very weird The actors all do great jobs and the story is interesting. The film has an almost Poe like quality in it's plot line. And I'll be honest with you...I'm not quite sure what happens at the end, but the film held my interest.

"The Creeping Flesh" (1973)
-Christopher Lee, Peter Cushing

Plot: IMDB
A Victorian-age scientist returns to London with his paleontological bag-of-bones discovery from Papua New Guinea. Unfortunately, when exposed to water, flesh returns to the bones unleashing a malevolent being on the scientist's family and friends.

Phantom's Review: Strange, but interesting little movie. Lee gets top billing, but Cushing is the real main star and sadly these two icons share very little screen time together. The plot is a bit convoluted but it holds your interest and the final scenes with the "monster" are very creepy. Not one of the greats but very entertaining.

Super 8. Awsome movie imo, the train crash was damn insanity! 4 or 5 /6.

REQUEST:

Can someone recommend me a movie that's really exiting? I'm talkin don't-go-in-there scenes, like for example the scene in the first Wrong Turn were the freaks are walking around while they're hiding in the same room. I just sat there and forgot to breath when I first saw it. Or like Mission Impossible 1, well if you've seen it, you know which scene I'm talkin about. :p
IT HAS TO BE a pretty new one... 80s and up to now, are excepted. I don't wanna see you hand me a 60s movie or something, lol.
