Disney is a weird, weird company.

Why does Donald Duck wear a shirt and no pants is a better question.

And how come Goofy can talk and Pluto can't.

Vodstok 01-23-2007 09:34 AM

The goofy pluto ting perplexes me. The donald one is easy: He's a pervert.

The Devil's Rejects

Didnt really know what to think at first, but man - this is possibly the best movie that Ive seen in a long time.

House of 1000 Corpses is easily more enjoyable, but this is just so much more powerful. Incredible movie.

BeetleJuice

I have to say i really enjoyed this, it's hilarious...

***SPOILER***

When it got to the part where the dinner guests started singing 'Daylight come' and dancing round as if they were possessed i just burst out laughing, that was so well done it was believable, they actually looked possessed as opposed to actors pretending, i couldn't help but laugh out loud it was so funny

I watched it with the wife, yes. But it wasn't bad, dark for a kids film and the Red Bull was badass. The old woman getting taken down by the Gryphon (almost as good as Rod's) was pretty intense for kids too.

Just watched Attack of the Giant Leeches.

C+

bad direction, some bad perfomances, and ultra bad script, however....
grade A cinematography, and loads of gore.

I agree... and the 1960's all star cast is great and I still laugh watching that and especially when Ethel Merman flew from the back seat to the front seat of the car and landed on her head and when Jonathan Winters smashed up the garage. Classic :D

Finally, God has blessed my small town. Pan's Labyrinth starts playing this Friday, and I'm 100% definite that I will be in that theatre A.S.A.P. Now, if only Inland Empire had the slightest chance of being released here...

Kairo, AKA Pulse

Wasnt overly impressed. Good concept, but I didnt find myself overly interested.

I'll take Uzumaki or The Eye over this anyday, thanks.

"Return of the living dead 4" 2/10

The_Return 01-24-2007 02:59 PM

The Omen (Remake)

Could have been worse...not on par with the original of course (Of course!), but I enjoyed it alot more than I thought I would.

Cool movie! Any movie that gives the ol' fog machine this much of a work out is OK by me:p. Add in a cool plot and Christopher Lee and you just cant go wrong.

Quest For Fire.
Not a typical caveman movie, some of it was a bit cheesball but overall it was good.
