The original Night of the Living Dead, I've actually never seen it before (except upto the 'They're coming to get you.....' part) and I've had it on DVD for about 4 years aswell.

The Deaths of Ian Stone (2007)

Never really got into any of the the After Dark stuff...unless I'm forgetting something (which is quite possible, heh) I'm pretty sure this is the first one I've actually got around to checking out. Glad I did though...pretty cool movie.

Every review I've seen tends to liken it to a mix of Groundhog Day/Dark City/Jacob's Ladder/Butterfly Effect/The Matrix (take your pick), and even though it did obviously take inspiration from a bunch of different places, I still found it surprising original compared to a lot of modern horror. The concept kind of fell apart toward the end, (SPOILER: Really would have liked something a little better than the same ol' "love conquers all" cliché.) but overall I thought it was really well-executed.

The acting could have used some work here and there - the main villain chick really brought down the whole final act, and even though I thought the CGI monsters were pretty damn cool, they got a little overdone by the end. I had fun with it though, not a bad movie at all.

Saw that^^ Thanx for pointing it out, it was nice!

Saw The Hills Have Eyes remake once again, but I still don't like it. it takes 50-60 mins before the movie really starts and it's pretty stupid and boring except for the last couple mins.
The 2nd was better, but the breed-thing was stupid and ruined it imo.
