Just finished my rereading of Jeff Long's Deeper. Its the sequel to The Descent(novel unrelated to the movie). Deeper was not as good as The Descent, but till a great read. If you haven't read The Descent you must. Long describes the caves/tunnels/underwater seas/etc. amazingly. The creepiness is there. The mystery is there too. Exploration of the deep subterranean, of an unknown humanoid species. This is not the mole people. Its vicious, harsh, wonder.

4/5 stars.

After binging on GAME OF THRONES, have started the books. Well written, but way too long-prefer the TV series.

Read this too. My first Schreiber book was Chasing the Dead which was very good. However the other books I've read of his are mediocre. No Doors No Windows and Eat the Dead.

Read through THE RISING in one quick session and now reading CITY OF THE DEAD-both Brian Keene.

I just burned through Nightwalk by D. Nathan Hillard. I loved this book, from the constant twists to the character interactions. I can't wait to try another one of his novels. Does anyone have any suggestions?
