Those films would certainly complement one another.
Over the years I've had chances to see The Innocents, but the condition of the film was poor, or the timing was never right to see it all the way through. I knew that for a film as well thought of as the Innocents, neither of those conditions would do. So I waited and my patience paid off.
I picked up a gorgeous transfer of the film at Monster Bash a few weeks ago and finally watched it for the first time, yesterday. Obviously I was not disappointed. Thrilling, chilling, heartbreaking and unforgettable. |
