I really liked this..

yeah...my wife got the tickets and I'm like" meh....yeah I'll go" I love Monty Python but not too keen on musicals...other than Jesus Christ Superstar, which I've seen 3 times.......so anyway, I go and loved it.

Scream 2 - Probably my personal favourite of the series, I like how every one of these is a piss-take on one type of film - it's like scary movie needn't have really existed in this form, they did it already.
Decent "true sequel", yet still enough tension-comedy ratio.

Scream 3 - In all honesty I never liked this one, from the overall "too much comedy" vibe, to the characters personalities in numerous cases completely changing, to the annoying Gale Weathers clone...to the quite ludicrous motivation for the killer.
Watching it again trying not to judge was difficult.
It was ok I suppose. Bought a few interesting things to the table like the mother apparitions, the killer posing as others etc.

So off to see Scream 4 today.
Hoping, it's maybe a little better than the 3rd.
...I doubt the whole "new trilogy" theory, but we'll see.

Also going to watch the Burn Notice prequel movie "The fall of Sam Axe" later on today.

Loooved the dream/nightmare with the mother in the window. That was actually creepy as hell.

Would like to see much more of that in the future Screams. But what are the odds..

Troll Hunter - Visually it was really cool, and I was entertained the whole time. The story didn't really make much sense (why did the government guy not just take their camera when it's supposedly a giant government cover-up) but it was fun.

Hanna - Super disappointing, it was a bad action movie disguised as an art film. Which basically just made it a slow and boring action movie with a weak story. Cate Blanchett's accent was all over the place.

And why the hell did the guy holding the camera keep turning off the nightvision, so neither he or we could see a thing?? Moron..

Scream 4.
I liked it better than Scream 3, so that's my expectations met and exceeded.
Though I will say without spoiling anything, I found the killers motivation this time around just...bottom of the barrel.
It was decent, fans of the series shouldn't be too let down.
