Haha, yeah. I really love finding Hallowe'en-y beers when the season's here. Plus, these are all really delicious brews, too.

Oh man, you'd love it. It's a great, smooth sipping seasonal. 8%, too; not too bad.

Watched a couple movies and enjoyed a Dogfish Head Punkin Ale, maybe the best pumpkin brew out there:

I always hate to try other beers when Octoberfest is out.....mainly because it's not out that long. Pretty soon it'll be pulled from the shelves.

If you can find it you should try New Holland's Ichabod Pumpkin Ale or Southern Tier Pumking. Both are also some of the best out there.

Soozan 10-15-2012 08:20 PM

Magic hat

Just enjoyed the last of the magic hat IPA encore series from the summer. Yummy. After a long, hot summer I am ready for the winter brews!

Bells two hearted ale is delish!

Anyone had a decent octoberfst brew?
Soozan

Those are both really good brews. Especially the Ichabod. Another one of my favorite seasonals.

About a week ago, i tried the Samuel Adams:Oktoberfest for the first time. it was actually pretty good. it was at a local bookstore too....how often do you get to drink beer in a bookstore? lol

The local bookstore in town does a lot of discussions, author signings and such. and with one of the poetry readings we mixed it up a bit with Oktoberfest :D

About a month ago we had "50 Shades of Wine" lol i'll just say we did more wine drinking than discussing the books.

All of Europe loves England, especially Scandanavians ! Unfortunately the beer can go back in the fridge as the match looks like being abandonned,it seems no one thought to close the roof before the pitch was waterlogged.Bravo !

They probably didn't have any roof. It's Poland.

I almost bought this the other day. Instead I picked up a 6 pack of this:

One gem and one I'm not sure about?

Mythos - it's a Greek beer and smooth as can be with a beer taste and not a Budweiser or Coors cheap taste. Found it at a Greek Orthodox festive. It's a lager and AWSOME!

It's a blueberry ale kinda beery with an English bulldog kicking a blueberry. First time I tried it I thought I was drinking a blueberry pancake and the second time I thought I was drinking a cheap nasty beer on clearance.
