The film leaves it quite vague.

All the times I've seen that film and never noticed. I'll have to look for that next time.

I remembered the Trancers films, I think I saw one or two of them when I was little, been years though.

I really liked pt1 - girls, weed, and gore ... what more could one want?

It's been a long time since I last watched either and never saw the extended cut of the first. Maybe I'll give them another try, sometime.

Friday The 13th - original, but 2 is very close runner up

Halloween - same as FT13

A Nightmare On Elm Street - original for sure

Saw - original

Scream - never cared much for this series but they were all pretty equal in my book

The Texas Chainsaw Massacre - original, one of the best of the best.

Alien - original and 2nd

Predator - original

Phantasm - original

Evil Dead - pretty close between 1&2 but probably 2 by a hair

Hellraiser - 2

Child's Play - original, but Bride was at least really funny lol

Final Destination - first one was the only I could stand

horcrux2007 09-24-2014 06:57 PM

Imma re-rate mine... but excluding the original

FT13: Part 7 - at least they were trying something new with the telekinesis

ANOES: Part 3 - I liked the return of Nancy, and the kills were pretty cool

Alien: Aliens - fun, action-packed, and quite emotional at parts

Saw: Saw II - while not as intriguing as the original, it's still a fun and bloody little movie

The Evil Dead: Evil Dead reboot - insanely gory and fun to watch

Hellraiser: Hellbound - very convoluted; i didn't like it but it was the only bearable Hellraiser sequel that I've seen

Child's Play: Bride of Chucky - at least it was somewhat funny?

Final Destination: Final Destination 2 - better plot, writing, and death scenes than the first one

Scream: Scream 2 - not as good as the original but still pretty slick

Halloween: H20 - the return of Laurie was nice and it was pretty fun to watch

I think I covered most of the big ones.

I sometimes think I prefer Final Destination 2 to the first. I'll watch them all again soon as part of my annual Horror viewing, so I'll see whether I like it or the original better.

With anthology films I forgot the 1972 Tales From The Crypt as well as it's sequel, The Vault Of Horror. It's been so many years since I last watched either that I don't remember the segments in them very well.
