The Poughkeepsie Tapes (2007)

Mockumentary about a serial killer who films the abduction, torture, and murder of his victims.

Pretty fucked up stuff they showed... the movie itself was pretty interesting, scary, and creepy. Recommended if you can handle pretty gruesome and dark types of movies.

7/10

The Collection (2012)
Second viewing. Still a pretty good movie. I would love more sequels.

Oh ya, I forgot about the Avengers. I really liked it. I've seen it about 3 times, lots of fun.

Did I watch the wrong movie because this was boring as hell. I typically like slower movies like The Babadook and The Exorcist, but at least stuff happened. It had a couple of creepy scenes here and there, but they were never really memorable. The "you're not my daughter scene" just left me with "eh, that was cool, I guess", as well as every other "scary" scene. I also predicted the ending within the first 30 minutes of the movie. This also felt like a very long movie because when the movie wasn't creepy, it was just a lot of uninteresting dialogue. I was expecting a good, suspenseful haunted house movie, but what I got was a forgettable drama. 4/10

The Others is more of a drama, & honestly, I think it's more enjoyable for adults & parents. I liked it a little better than The Innocents, actually, had a little more heart to grab on to.

So is The Babadook, but that was actually interesting.
