I'm hoping the third one's better.

:D

It isn't.

I loved the first one but the sequels suck leper balls.

I never bothered with the third Starship Troopers...the second one was in my opinion completely sub par...I actually got about 25 minutes into this before I switched it off, which is something I rarely do, but yeah...not my thing at all.
I would not specifically OBJECT to seeing the third, considering it's meant to be at least a little bit more of a continuation of the first one than the second was, but yeah I'm not about to rush out and grab it.
The animated series is something I watched a few times, actually thought that was pretty decent.

Watched:

A Serbian film - Yeah pretty nasty I suppose...though the one scene it's "known" for to me actually looked pretty deliberately fake (kuato comes to mind), but yeah otherwise it was fairly brutal and depressing.
...I don't know if I was confused or not, but I thought I'd heard something about someone being forced to eat a dick in this? did not see that...so what I read must have been talking not quite about "eating".
It's not a bad attempt at a first film though.

The Horde (La horde)
Actually I thought this was one of the better "zombie" films I'd seen in a while...I had not heard of it before I grabbed it, and don't regret that I did.
Not the most fulfilling ending, but some good gore/splatter, decent atmosphere and some great violence against zombies.
Characters and storyline...meh...but it was above all enjoyable, I'd reco it to zombie fans looking for something new.

"I Love You Phillip Morris" 7/10 - Thin, thin story and a lot of gay intimity that made me cringe several times. BUT it did have me laughing here and there. And once again Carrey did good. Really good.

"The loved ones" 8/10 - Amazing how a movie can work this well with a story that simple. Recommended to all horrorfans. If not for the story then for the performance of Robin McLeavy. You gotta love her character even tho she's utterly insane. :D (Too bad the genre doesn't allow her to be considered an Oscar nommination for best supporting actress).

"Black Swan" 8/10 - and the Oscar goes to.... Sure, Portmans performance was flawless and the movie WAS good, no question about it. I'm just not a big ballet fan, so i honestly got a bit bored with all the dancing scenes. The rest was good. Predictable but good. And the finger-flesh ripping scene in the bathroom... brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.. GOD DAMN NASTY!!!!

"Bad Ronald" 6-7/10 - Unique story. Poor guy. :(

"Home movie" 3-4/10 - everything about it was disappointing.

Good to know that you liked Loved Ones. Pretty well made & executed with a good cast.

Oh yeah...I so much loved that 'finger-flesh-ripping' scene in Black Swan that first time I even rewind & watched it again.:D

Watched "The Experiment" with Adrien Brody and "Easy A" with Emma Stone. Both equally great, but very much equally different.
