Yeah i'm really enjoying it so far. I really like how he does his version of traveling back in time with time itself not wanting to be changed and the story is really good.

Imo, the definitive illustrated book on the subject. I've read this sucker at least 4 times.

So what's the best guess of why Elisabeth Short was murdered and posed like that?

I'll have to get it next time I hit the library. I'm going to get The Shining too.

Well, Sculpty, it seems to have been a mix of art, sexual perversion, and some deep misogyny. That at least is what is theorized in the book. It's a great read.

DEVIANT-Harold Schecter. Excellent bio of the life and crimes of Ed Gein. Schecter really knows his stuff on true crime and recommend all of his work.

Clive Barker The Books Of Blood all if them. Read a lot of Barker but never got around to reading these. Very enjoyable.

RECKLESS-Chrissie Hynde. Absolutely love The Pretenders debut and many others and think Chrissie can sing with the best of them. However, this is a real disappointment as it mainly focuses on her travelling, her drug use and what a "tough chick" she is. Book ends at the worst possible moment, right after the deaths of James Honeyman-Scott and Pete Farndon when there is still a lot of the bands history to relate.
