A shining example of why a certain Mr. Al Pacino is 2nd in my list of most favorite actors of all time.

Last night i watched Gummo. I really friggin hope there arent places in america that are like that. Unfortunatly i feel as if i might be let down by the answers of that statement.

3/5.

Agreed. Not a particularly good movie, but it's hard to criticize a film that sets out to be a gratuitous exploitation flick, and then delivers gratuitous exploitation.

I like 3/4 of it but the ending was just to dumb for me, even for the type of film it was. Though I must admit Camaro is one of my favorite female roles in a long time.

The God Who Wasn't There (2005)

Obviously very biased, but still an interesting doc. Some of his info seemed a bit shaky, but some of the interviews were fascinating. Only problem is that it really doesn't try to give us anything new: I didn't see anything here that would make anyone rethink their beliefs, and as an agnostic myself, it didn't really present anything that I didn't already know - I'm sure die-hard atheists must have been bored to death by this.

Still, the interviews made it worthwhile. Not a bad watch if you're into this kind of thing.
