A Nightmare on Elm Street 2: Freddy's Revenge (1985) - Great movie, Robert Englund played a great freddy for the original Nightmare on Elm Street series. I really liked this movie though.

Citizen Toxie
=========
The movie starts off with the diaper mafia trying to blow up a school full of retarded children, that's really all you should need to know. A must see flick, if you haven't seen it.

Creep (2004) This movie debut by Christopher Smith definitely shows that he loves the horror genre and has a little talent to boot. How he scraped together this great cast (with Franka Potente from Run Lola Run fame) is more of a mystery than the story itself. Even the monster was played by the more than reputable Sean Harris, and his performance was brilliant. The story itself, with many holes and as well as stupid character moments, is well paced and more than enjoyable. The doctor scene was just plain twisted... The camera work was fun and really got down and dirty to reveal the characters in a wonderful in your face fashion. On the musical side, the score was almost as creepy as the movie itself. Overall, this was a solid entry from a director whose first flick served as a great platform with which to motor on in this genre of blood and guts. Merci beaucoup.

Home Movie - Not bad. Pretty typical for the type of movie it is.

Inside - Meh, started out scary and suspenseful, but then turned into a plotless gorefest.

.

Really. I found this film pretty fresh and original. What's another movie of this "type" that's similar?
