I thought it was fantastic. I've seen it 6 times, and it's my second favorite horror movie.

I wonder what your 10 favorites are.
Don't mean that in a condescending way. Just curious what the younger generation likes.
As much as I like some of the newer movies, most of the older classics will always be my favorites. Probably because I grew up with them like you grow up with yours. I think it's the same for most of us here.
Time's the best judge. In 10 years or so you might think some of your current favorites are stupid. While some will be still as good or even better.

Maybe, maybe not. I try not to bias myself against other generations of movies.

This is in no particular order:

Alien, The Thing, The Fly, Oculus, [REC], Rosemary's Baby, The Ring, Insidious, Halloween, The Shining

Mostly classics and some of your time.
Same in my case. And I guess for most people.

Which version of The Fly? 50s or 80s?

I would think the remake, the original is a poor film in my humble opinion, but that's all it is, my opinion.

Just watched open windows, a novel idea which becomes very convoluted quickly, and turns into a very different film about 2 thirds of the way through, quite a twisty ending but guessable for anyone with a taste for these movies. No spoilers here lol.

The Pyramid (2014)
http://filmjunk.com/images/weblog/20...thepyramid.jpg

Pseudo Found footage film that is riddled with cliches, bad acting and a plot that runs by the numbers. Considering this, i liked it more that I should. That kid from the Inbetweeners puts in an embarrassing performance.

I think ChronoGrl might like it though...
