Blade - Why did I even bother? The special effects were rather funny though.
Boondock Saints - Ooh, tough to say what I think of the film. It was rather confusing; I was ticked off by the awkward camera cuts. But it was pretty badass, I guess. And wow, Willem Dafoe sure surprised me with his great "performances".
My Cousin Vinny - Pretty good. It had great performances, excellent jokes and a stable plot.
Twilight - ...Please, not right now. I am still in pain from watching it.

Them/Ils

Finaly after so much anticipation, perhaps to much on my part after so many attempts to get my hands on a copy. It was a well made suspense movie, but the ending lets it down, it is a bit abrupt.

7/10

Day of the Triffids

Another one with not such a great ending, pretty good cheese value though.

5/10

Island of Death

Hmm, that poor goat. This was a rather brutal flick with no morals what so ever, well worth checking out if you are into genre flicks.

8/10

Taxidermia (2006). Existing somewhere between wonderful art-house and disgustingly demented brilliance, this offering from director Gyorgy Palfi was mere genius. Not for everyone, those with steel stomachs might come to love this wicked little tale which spans three generations, an adaptation to three pieces of popular Hungarian literature. The acting was more than solid. The camera work was splendid, and the direction was phenomenal. The vision of this work defies the imagination, with more than memorable images. How some of the more disgusting scenes came to be almost tolerable defies reality. Overall a wonderful time indeed for connoisseur of disturbing cinema. Merci beaucoup.

You Don't Know Jack (2010)

Perhaps due to my lack of knowledge & interests but pardon me that I have never heard of this 'Dr. Death' before. But HBO brings him on screen played by one of the greatest icons of modern cinema-Al Pacino & with him there's a powerful group of strong supporting cast. So as a film & after my brief browsing about the controversial story of Dr. Jack Kevorkian & his 'Death Machine & Mercy Machine', I think Barry Levinson (Rain Man) did an excellent work in portraying it on celluloid under a nonjudgmental point of view...specially when the subject matter is so delicate, sophisticated or whatever you say. The film nicely points out & recognizes several issues with care & made me think about the perception of terminal illness, death's insight in social, legal & religious views & the service that Dr. Kevorkian came with...a manner for people suffering incurable disease and those pleading to die with dignity to have a choice as to whether they by law must linger in misery or be given the opportunity to have a doctor assisted suicide. Whether it's right or wrong...the movie doesn't tell actually, nor should it....you decide.

A brilliant film from HBO & for the TV audience but I think it should get a theatrical wide release also. A very compelling docudrama where the story draws you in & you'll find all the characters are well developed in all the right areas & get the chance to see again a perfect combo of a character, star & performance from Pacino.

"Sherlock Holmes" 7/10

Without Robert Downey Jr. this movie would've been quite forgettable.

I just rented it from a new video store I signed up with called "The Movie Reel" in Melbourne, pretty awesome store actually, very small but has shitloads of awesome stuff.

Twice I bought copies on ebay but both times they would not post it to Australia...
