Hey,
I'm looking for the name of a movie I think came out in the nineties. It's basically about swamp monsters that kill people . They kind of looked like Swamp Thing by Wes Craven. (green, covered in seaweed, ...) In a particular scene a guy and his girlfriend are both naked in a tent on the beach when suddenly they're attacked by one of the monsters who instantly kills the guy. The girl is dragged into the sea after the usual running and screaming. In the final scene a woman thinks she's giving birth to a baby, but to the doctors' surprise, a baby swamp monster bursts out of her. --- Bonus movie: Not sure about this one. I might be mixing several movies up. Anyway : A B movie (1980s?) in which an angel and devil (looking like regular humans) are on a train discussing whether certain people should go to hell or heaven. The first story is about a guy who works (or somehow ends up) at a hospital where women are kidnapped and killed later on by some big dude. I recall him witnessing a woman tied to a bed and he just ran out of the room instead of helping her. At the end of that story he eventually manages to kill the bad guy with an axe by striking him in the head. |

Looking for movie titles
These are a few scary movies I saw a long time ago (80's), although this first movie looked like it was shot sometime in the 70's.
I think this movie was like 3 or 4 unrelated stories bundled together, you know... kinda like Creepshow. Anyways, in one story there's a man, he's an actor, and he's vying for a part in a movie. His competitor gets cast instead, so out of jealously he kills him and is then awarded the part by attrition. He enjoys his success from the box office smash he starred in, but soon after he is haunted by the dead actor's ghost who appears as a grotesque corpse in the mirror. So, afraid for his life the actor becomes very paranoid and reclusive and avoids mirrors like a crazy man at all costs. No one understands what's wrong with him and everyone thinks he has gone crazy. In the end of the movie the corpse gets his revenge by killing the actor because he accidentally saw his reflection in someone's eye or something like that. Ok, in another part of this movie, (or maybe this is from a different movie all together, I don't know) A man breaks into this room in a building because there's something in there he wants, I don't know, maybe he was trying to rob it? As the intruder slowly ventures into the room and searches about an older man spins around in a chair. The intruder pulls a switchblade and the old guy sitting down reveals a shotgun and says "how nice of you to bring a knife to a gun fight." then he blows him away. Ok, this is the last movie I'm going to describe, it's unrelated to the first two. Also a little newer, I'd say late 70's early 80's. I can't remember if it was actually a horror but I remember it had some scary-ass parts in it. It had kind of a sci-fi theme, it's the future and instead of money you pay for things with credits which are actually minutes of your life. You've got this digital watch that tells you how many you have left. There's this guy in a restaurant that is about to run out and he's frantically running around begging people to transfer some credits to him. No one does and he dies right then and there. Ok, well, that's it. I'm hoping someone in here might have seen these movies and know what they are. I would like to revisit these films and see what scared me so as a child. Thanks in advance, -Dirty D |
I would like to know the title of another horror movie, but since I remember so little about it, I doubt anyone could help, but.... it doesn't hurt to ask.
It's a movie from late 80s or early 90s, there is a monster chasing the leading actor during the entire movie and in the ending, when the monster is finally defeated, a lot of other monsters of the same type suddenly appear at a morgue. Sorry. That's all I remember. |
Which movie is this from? (includes nuns)
Hi,
Me and my friend have been racking our brains for 2 days now, trying to work out where we have seen this scene before- Basically there is someone in a corridor (maybe hospital but can't quite remember) and then suddenly two nun's float (not walk) past this person, all the way down the corridor. Its pretty creepy and you don't see the nuns faces. They MIGHT have been crying but not 100% sure. Anyone know/remember?? |
Sounds a little like a scene from The Exorcist 3. Though, I think that was only one person floating and not sure if it was a nun. Lol, sorry. That probably wasn't much help.

In search of a horror movie!
Hallo everyone, i am a new member...
I was looking for a horror movie, dont really remember the year it was shot..i must have been about 7-8 y/o when i saw that movie, it was 1996-7... The main theme was that a plane changed dimension during flight and went to a deserted airport, where there were creatures outside lurking, and no one was going out of that airport. The party eventually came back but with some losses. A friend of mine mentioned a title something like "gorgols"..but i cant find anything. If you could help i would be really happy. Thank you in advance. |

90s demon comedy
Looking for a cheesy movie from, I think, the mid 90s. It is not the cheesy demon movie with the guy who played Malory's boyfriend on Family Ties)
It was definitely more goofy and funny than scary but it was demon-themed. It takes place in "modern day." No real major actors that I can recall. There are these two guys who are kind of demon-hunter, ghost buster type guys. One guy is is the main character and is more serious and the other guy is kind of the jocky, screw up type guy. It definitely has some of the typical buddy movie type elements. Plotwise, as best as I can remember there were various lesser demons that were either possessing people or they just appeared as regular people. I want to say that the demons just sort of looked like humans and then sort of popped out of their skins a la Guyver, but maybe I'm just thinking of Guyver. They had contact with some sort of mentor figure who is kind of hefner-esque but he dies and is then reincarnated as an approximately twelve year old boy who lives in a cave, but still retains his prior lifestyle. He smokes cigars, is surrounded by beautiful women, bemoans the fact that he's a 12 year old boy, etc. This is really just one scene but it sticks in my head. The whole demon thing is being run by some kind of sorceror/wizard guy. The wizard guy captures the main characters girlfriend (of course) and takes her to his mansion. He performs a ritual which awakens/summons some sort of super demon which the two guys fight. The demon is essentially a bad cgi dragon. This was definitely early days for cgi and they blew most of the non-existent budget on the demon. In the end they prevail and the guy gets the girl. I remember there is a final scene where the sidekick guy stops in a gas station and meets up with some hot girl and I'm pretty sure we may know from earlier in the movie that she's a demon. Any ideas? |
Looking for this movie. Not sure if its 80s or 90s. Probably 80s. But this woman gets locked in a mall with a guy that carries an ax with him and he stalks her through this mall. The only real part I remember about this movie is her going into a room and a baboon being in that room and her being scared.

On the baboon thing, there WAS a horror film I saw a while ago where something like a baboon was after people...shakma or something like that? Anyways, this is probably of no help. I have one. Not a horror movie, I'd say late 80's early 90's, kind of had the feel of a "tv movie" or "miniseries" but I could be wrong there. All I remember was that it was about a girl and a boy (girl was teen, boy was a bit younger) facing off against some poachers? Just had a brief thought of it...though cannot remember much at all. May have been set in Africa, though the cast was white... |

Hey guys!
I need help with this movie title, it's been on the tip of my tongue for days and it's starting to piss me off. The movie is about an evil/possessed little boy who terrorizes his father and younger sister. I remember the father being afraid of his son and putting up locks on his bedroom and things like that. In the ending the father smacks the son in a public place and is arrested.. I think... Any ideas? |
I think the demoniac possessed boy might be from one of the "Omen" sequels, or "Burnt Offerings", but do not quote me on that. It also sounds like "Beyond the Door II', but the boy also had a mother in that one. Can you give an estimated year of the date of the movie?
Could also be one of the "the Gate" movies, but I am not entirely sure on that. - Horrorman |

You're welcome.

Hi everyone,
Does anybody remember a movie (from the early 90s, or 80s perhaps) in which a boy is in his bedroom and a hand begins to appear on his "Pin Art" toy, like the one shown below? http://www.giftmonger.com/acatalog/p...ressions-2.jpg I'm trying to find the scene, but I can't remember what else happens in the movie. And Google searches constantly give me Hellraiser results ("Pinhead") which aren't helping..... Thanks in advance! |
For some reason a NOES sequel comes to mind-like 4 or 5. I'm probably way off though.

The Langoliers is a great movie. You should check out King's book as well. He is a great master of the horror genre

Happy Halloween horror fans! It's been a LONG time since I've been here! It makes me think I need to come back more often! I've been trying to remember a film I saw when I was a kid in the 1970's. Unfortunately all I remember is 2 pretty vague scenes. In one, a man stands in front of an old-fashioned wash basin and mirror. He bends over, washes his face, but when he looks in the mirror his face is covered with leeches. The other scene is a dark hallway with an open lit door at the end. A nun is floating down the hallway, toward the camera, maybe a foot off the ground. I know there's not much to go on, but I've been trying to remember this movie for years.
Thanks in advance!!!! |
