Oh my gosh...I thought it was just for a week or two. My sister sometimes does that with her job.

I've worked for the company for almost 13 years, and this is only the second time I've done this. Last time was from 11/09 til 3/11!

MichaelMyers 11-12-2014 06:48 AM

Too bad for us. Goodbye Hammy!!! Where will you find the time to watch horror movies? ::confused::

I know! I'll have to have movies running in the background while I clean!

I probably won't be on there much, either. Except to play Criminal Case! LOL

See, I miss so much on Facebook, It's much easier to catch up on horror related stuff or start a focused discussion when I get the urge here. I talk to most of my friends in person obviously but others I catch up with more over XBox Live believe it or not, Facebook is behind those by far. I forget to message people, don't respond to invites to events... I might just be a terrible Facebooker.

The Villain 11-14-2014 05:01 PM

I think no matter what i'll still keep coming here as long as there are still good members of course. If nothing else, i've learned of some great movies here that i don't think i would have anywhere else. Even with the current events here, i still like coming to this forum. I don't post as much as i used to but i still always check it out.

tfantasy 11-15-2014 01:58 AM

I would be sad if I didn't have this place to talk about horror movies ::sad::

I hope everyone stays......

Agreed

ChronoGrl 11-15-2014 06:09 PM

Me too; I'll still come here. The issue is one I've had for a while: time. It's a lot easier to post a quick blurb on FB.

The Bloofer Lady 11-15-2014 08:19 PM

Yeah...I pretty much ::love:: it here.

Yeah its the same for me. Sometimes the only time i can come on here is at work on my phone. For example, right now my 10 month old is crawling on my lap making it increasingly hard to type this right now.

Wife works... I might go have dinner with my parents and then go shopping. Should be pretty laid back this year.

I'm gonna be in Disney World for my 7th time all next week! It's great every time I go. There's the new seven dwarves mine ride, test track was renovated since the last time we've gone, and we're staying at a hotel we've never stayed at before because the other 6 times, we've stayed at the port orleans.

hammerfan 11-18-2014 05:14 PM

Can't wait til I get used to this schedule. Soooo tired.

Love that ride!!!! I have to admit, I am a HUGE Disney World fan!! In 2005, I took my son to Florida for his first time. We stayed on International Drive and we went to Magic Kingdom, Epcot Center, Islands of Adventure, Universal Studios, and Sea World. Best trip ever!! I want to go back sooooo bad!!!

I'm so fucking tired of artists/ creative people who use their gift as an excuse to be lazy. Like the idea that you have to be inspired in order to put a hard days work in is actually a legitimate concept and not just some bullshit you fool yourself into believing because you cant be arsed to hit deadlines and do your job. Try sitting down and actually focusing on the task at hand instead of dreaming about pixies and unicorns all day. Seriously, if you are in that tiny bracket of people who actually make a living off just your art and creativity then you already won. Don't use it as an excuse to be lazy, because there are a ton of people out there actually working hard who don't always feel 'inspired' but have to find ways of working through it. Sometimes you have to force creativity and push yourself to actually get 'inspired' rather than sit around in fantasy land waiting for the muse to visit.

If you have creative blocks and find a way to work through them, while dealing with everything else life throws at you, then I salute you. If you are someone that habitually uses inspiration as an excuse not to complete, then just make sure you don't take on projects where people are depending on you.

OK, rant over. If I didn't say that here, I would've said it somewhere that would've likely cause a ton of hassle for me. ::cool::
