Sure took some time to get started, but it was never boring.

The ridiculous twist at the very end ruined everything for me.

Quite repetitive, but had a few nice gore scenes. Boring zombie tho.

I quite liked it, a decent watch overall.

Van Diemen's Land (2009)

http://img51.imageshack.us/img51/739...emenslandn.jpg

The true story of Alexander Pearce, Australia's most notorious convict. In 1882, several convicts escaped custody to brave the harsh conditions of Van Diemen's Land in Tasmania. Pearce and seven others were faced with the cruel wilderness of the landscape and limited resources. As days passes with hunger, the others had no choice but to slaughter their fellow man and then devour them so they would be able to continue on and not starve to death. Much of the tension throughout the film is derived from each man knowing that he is at risk of being the next person to be killed.

Kinda slow paced but pretty dark & grim also. A well made film with some nice cinematography.

"Let sleeping corpses lie" 7-8/10

Good old english zombie flick.

Wonder if "28 days/weeks later" got their "zombie" eyes from this movie.

Naaah... the story wasn't that good and the nazi super zombie wasn't ass kicking enough.

But you don't see a horse scene like that every day. :D

Sublime (2007). You will either love or hate this one. i loved it. A slow burner to be sure, the way the movie unfolds overuses a classic storytelling technique brilliantly. The atmosphere was cryptic and creepy. Nurse Zoe was smokin' hot. i think that all movies should have a nurse Zoe... The story itself was nothing new, but it had a style all its own, which coupled with the wonderful camera-work and great audio made for a great watch. The acting and direction were all solid. Gore fans will get at least a touch of heaven towards the end, but will likely want more. This was almost America's version of the ever-so-creepy Japanese flick Infection, and in a good way. Mercie beaucoup.

Man with the Screaming Brain. Ted Rami & Stacy Keach make for a decent double act.
