The Mothman 01-05-2010 10:18 PM

I've seen a good deal over the past few days.

Desperate Measures
predictable/cliche yet enjoyable thriller

Them
good movie, nothing special however.

watched The Fisher King for a second time

Copland
same deal as desperate measures.

Pineapple Express
wasn't expecting much, but was taken by suprise. laughed my ass off. James Franco nails the stoner role better than anyone.

The Road
totally took me by suprise, loved it. way better than The Proposition.

Glory
good yet slightly flawed flick.

Avatar 3D (imax)
pretty kickass.

Feed
repulsive, nauseating. the most disgusting movie I have ever seen.

Senseless (2008)

Based on Stona Fitch's novel, this is the story of a wealthy US businessman (Behr) whose brutal kidnapping and torture are streamed online as part of an ultra-violent reality TV show.

Atten: Angra, at one point of torture here they also use a grater like Farmhouse (08) :)

The Lovely Bones (2009)

Haven't read the original novel but as a film it's a decent one and as usually Mr. Tucci was excellent & very convincing with his role.

The Vampire Lovers

Great Hammer vampire flick notable for the amount of female nudity and implied lesbianism. If any of you have Impact station on demand, have some fun and check this classic out.

Yep, one of my favs...

Last Seen:
Club Dread (2004). Figured i'd take a risk on this one as i usually don't like horror comedies. This was an exception. With lots of eye candy, fun, comedy, and some gore, Club Dread was a pleasant surprise. Ashe.

Jacob's Ladder.

I haven't seen this movie in almost 20 years. Amazing movie. Aged so well that it really could have been made recently.
