With Slither it was weird, I was expecting more "gross factor" and less of a good movie. I was surprised really.

just a good old fashioned monster movie .. competent enough to keep you interested .. lots of fun..

the_real_linda 11-02-2006 09:07 AM

Lugosi/Karloff one is great, Lugosi is off his rocker as doctor Vollin. If you want to see it send me a PM. I'm sure I could... find a place you could get it...

Burning in Hell 11-02-2006 01:29 PM

Saw III yesterday. Very impressive I must say, at least from my point of view. Too bad there will be a 4 & 5, because this would have been the perfect ending for a trilogy...

Roderick Usher 11-02-2006 02:14 PM

Dead Birds
interesting

Really good performances and directing, and an interesting little twist, but a thin story. I'll be looking for more from the director.

Damien: The Omen II

Not quite as awesome as the first, but still really good. Awesome ending.

Angel Heart is a great film, and The Omen 2 is not bad.

Geddy 11-02-2006 04:46 PM

I have'nt seen the original omen yet.I thought the remake sucked.Do you think they'll make sequels to the remake?

Good story, great cast... this one didn't waste the great cast like a lot of movies do when they get some great people together. I think what I really liked is the fact that it was able to be really brutal in scenes without having to really expose everything. I also dug the way that it got very surreal at times but at the end you never really wondered what happened because it all made sense without having to over-explain everything.

the_real_linda 11-02-2006 04:52 PM

The whole series is decent, as far as franchises go.

I enjoyed the 2nd, and the third as well.

Looking forward to #3, Sam Neill is perfect for the part IMO.

What's #4 like? Premise sounds kind of shit...

ShankS 11-02-2006 05:04 PM

Seriously, that's become a cult favorite around here.

Easily one of the funniest movies of all time.

"The whole Judy Garland thing kind of turned me on. Does that make me some kind of fag?"

Was this on TV or something?

I always put my Last Seen Movie in my MSN name, right? One of my friends came on to tell me that she saw part of it, now you post that you just watched it...

Creepy coincidence, or...?
