A Creative mp3 with 30gigs, holding somewhere between 5k and 10k songs. I count it as a business investment for my book. I need theme music and something to drown out the noise of dogs barking. (Not the, "I'm hungry" or the "I wanna go out," but the "Here's the mail lady!" "Here's the UPS driver!" "Here's someone making a circle in the couldesac!")

I just bought a whole bunch of laserdiscs because sadly a local laserdisc store is closing its doors and they are selling their stock off at reasonable prices. So I got some nice discs, but it's sad to see the store go. This is a great, amazing store that had, I think, ten or fifteen thousand titles, or something kooky like that!

Elvis_Christ 07-31-2005 07:41 PM

VHS:
Frankenhooker
Bodycount
Killer Workout
1990: The Bronx Warriors
I Was A Teenage Zombie

- Bewitched - 1st season
- The Lost Boys (2 disc special ed)
- The Crazies (Blue Underground) FINALLY !!!!!!!!!!!

filmmaker2 07-31-2005 11:25 PM

Well, out of the bargain $4 bin, I got:

Lifeforce
Man of a Thousand Faces
Lady In White
For Your Eyes Only
South Pacific
Halloween III
The Changeling
Jaws 2
Phantom of the Paradise
The Terminator
Time After Time

They had ten or fifteen others that I wanted, but I stopped there because it was already getting bad.

People were coming in and walking off with huge stacks of stuff. I think it may all be gone pretty soon. The store has sectioned off a bunch of box sets they will sell at collectors' prices, so people will have to shell out for the really good stuff (original Star Wars films, etc.).

ShankS 08-01-2005 12:38 AM

Crying Fist LE
A Bittersweet Life DC LE
The Grudge LE
Antarctic Journal LE
