I just bought a whole bunch of laserdiscs because sadly a local laserdisc store is closing its doors and they are selling their stock off at reasonable prices. So I got some nice discs, but it's sad to see the store go. This is a great, amazing store that had, I think, ten or fifteen thousand titles, or something kooky like that!

People were coming in and walking off with huge stacks of stuff. I think it may all be gone pretty soon. The store has sectioned off a bunch of box sets they will sell at collectors' prices, so people will have to shell out for the really good stuff (original Star Wars films, etc.). |
