Decent movie, if you can look past the very shitty ending and some insipid performances.

+the ghost looks lame with poor effects.

SAW IV & SAW V

almost forget everything about this sequels, so saw them again before watching the latest one.

SAW VI (2009)

Liked the happy ending.:). But I don't know why whether for the acting, set or probably the production value whatever...in some parts it was like watching a B-Movie.

Triangle (2009)

A pretty interesting thriller with a circular plot of recurring gruesome events on an abandoned ocean liner. Melissa George was perfect with the lead role.

The Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans (2009)

Not only a Werner Herzog movie, it's also like an original Nicolas Cage film also.

Is The Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans really that good?

Has it got a cinema release or is it on DVD?

Though I expected something more at the end but overall I found it that good indeed.
I'm not sure whether it got a theatrical release or not but here it comes out on DVD recently.

I was pretty wary of this film because the reviews were universally polarized... And the reasons given for the poor reviews identified aspects of "Black Comedies" that generally bother me...

...

but

...

Wow.

One of the best character pieces that I have seen. Ever. Black comedy done right (and I don't generally like movies that are coined as "Black Comedies"). Just enough over-the-top comedy combined with muted humor and a truly tragic hero (who is horrible, but at the same time someone you're rooting for). The writing and acting were phenomenal, especially Seth Rogan. I want to recommend this film, but I don't think that it's for everyone. However, for those who'd like it, you'll LOVE it.

4.5/5

I really enjoyed this too, especially as a comedic take on Taxi Driver.
So like Taxi Driver, this one had a heck of a climax.

I love it. My favorite Seth Rogen movie by far and I'm a fan.
