Terminator Salvation

*yawn*

I don't think I've been so bored watching an action movie, nor ever cared so little about characters that I have loved in previous installments in a series. I think I got to about the halfway mark before I started looking at the clock and wondering when it would be over. It wasn't a bad movie per se, but given what the first two movies were like Salvation just felt hollow and lifeless. It didn't help having inane plot manipulation, gaping plot holes, and actors slipping in and out of their native accents.

4/10 at the very most.

The game was atrocious. Made me not even want to bother with the film.

Down By Law (1986)

Incredible. Completely self-contained; filmmaking at its most prime, its elements bare and all that happens within and to the viewer is simply because it was made that way.

Humor doesn't get much dryer than this, also.

Really? I was expecting this one to be crap but as far as summer blockbusters, I ended up liking it better than both the Transformer movies combined. I just saw it a few days ago...

Take it however you want, but never, EVER expect the latter to happen.

I don't get the hate for Terminator: Salvation and Star Trek. I really enjoyed both flicks.
